Rock You Like a Hurrica.....What Just Happened

The below story has been dramatized for your entertainment purposes.

Today's the day!!! Today has finally come! It is time to get my hair cut!!!

This was the excitement I have displayed for most of the day. My last haircut was done before Thanksgiving, so today was a pretty big deal (at least in my eyes). I had heard so many great things about the stylist I was giving a whirl this time. Since I do not make it down to Fayetteville, where I normally get my haircut, I have been giving the ladies in BV a try. Quite frankly I still get a little nervous each time. And, rightfully so. Since I live in a retirement community, I am scared of coming out of the salon with blue hair wrapped in those old school Velcro rollers. Somehow, I knew this time was going to be different; I just didn't know to what extent.

I had heard a lot of very positive things about this new stylist. As I had been told to do, I brought in a picture of the cut I wanted. I chose to keep my hair longer than normal this time. My husband, Jeff, was ecstatic about that. Now let me first say that getting my hair done is an adventure I always look forward to because, for me, there is no greater feeling than someone running their fingers through my hair ever so sensually. I guess you could say it is an orgasmic experience. Let me secondly say that I love a good thick accent on any man or woman. I find it somewhat relaxing.

My stylist today originally came from Mexico, so her accent was a nice change to Yankee sounds I have to hear from all the "transplants" in BV. Between the fondling of my hair and the accent, I was good-to-go; entranced if you will. She was following the picture so perfectly. It was happening, I was getting a great haircut. And then something else happened. It felt like I was coming out a really good sleep. Ahhhhh, sleep, may favorite. All I can remember is an accent filled slurring of words and my head, eyes half opened now, nodding up and down and my mouth saying, "Sure, why not", like a happy, drunk bachelorette on the night before her wedding. That's when my great haircut turned into a nightmare. Apparently, she had asked if I wanted my bangs cut just like hers. I am not sure what was going through my mind. I mean, her bangs looked great-on her. "It's okay", I told myself, "I can work with this".

The next thing I know she was styling it. From here, words cannot describe my hair. Except maybe this...Remember Nikki Sixx from the 80's? Yeah, he wants his hair back.
